Is HairFactor a medical app? No. HairFactor is an educational wellness tool that helps you understand visible patterns in your hair and explore styling ideas. It does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment advice.
Where is my data stored? All your scan history, photos, and Hair Story are stored locally on your device. Nothing is stored on our servers. You can delete everything anytime from the History tab.
How does the AI scan work? You take a photo of your hair or scalp. The image is sent securely to our AI service for analysis. Results are delivered instantly and the photo is not retained after analysis.
How do I cancel my subscription? Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone and select HairFactor to manage or cancel.
What features are free? Hair Scan, Hair Detective, Style & Look, Wig Finder, Product Scanner, and Before & After tracking are all free. Premium features include AI Hair Coach, Weekly Reports, and virtual try-on.
How does calendar integration work? When you connect your calendar, HairFactor reads event titles and dates on your device only. It never sends calendar data to our servers. Faktor suggests hairstyles before weddings, interviews, dates, and other occasions.
